The Cu Copper Overdrive/Distortion Pedal by Endless Field Electronics is the first physical manifestation in an envisioned line of boutique effects pedals. Early in the process, the rest of the EFE team and myself devised the concept of associating each pedal with a element of the periodic table. We took this a step further by using both the western symbol for coppery (Cu) and the ancient alchemical symbol (the X shaped glyph in the center). Future pedals will follow the same schema, but with a unique color and element.
